The Caladh Trust aims to support individuals, families and carers who are afflicted by addiction (their own or a family member's), loneliness, and isolation, to find a way forward to recovery and rebuilding their lives, and find support and interaction and inclusion in wider society. Support is provided one to one where required. a weekly cafe providing a warm, welcoming, safe, non-judgemental space to interact and receive lunch (paid by donation where possible). making the facility available to groups/organisations who support others, e.g. teenagers, coping with similar scenarios. We work closely with partner agencies who can make confidential bookings at short notice as needed, and who provide trauma informed professional support for those who have experienced psychological and physical disadvantage, including gender-based violence. Th Trust offers training facilities and signposting to better equip the community to support people's mental health and well-being.
