Strneture, Governanee and Man#gement
Art Moves is a ¢hariry, registered in Scotland and is govemed by its Constitution. The trustees are responsibl¢ for the
administration and diT¢clion of thc charity.
Recrultment and Appointment of Trustees
All of tlie charity's trustees are aprK)inted or rcappointed by ihe members at the annual gener¥1 meeting. New trustees
arL' recruited on an ad hoc basis. ￿ and when required. Th¢re are no fom]al induction or training pro¢edur¢s in place.
Charit*ble Purposes
The aims and objective5 of Art Moves is to promote the welfare of people with disabilities living in An8us by
enLouraging participation in a rartge of arts activities and cultural ¢v¢nls. developing ski115, and enabling community
involvement so as lo improve their Conditions of life.

In preparing our activities for the year, we cmphasiz¢d thc nced io balance the immediate needs of the charity's
beneficiaries to be able to pr¢serve funds.

The Summer Drama Project

Thes¢ a¢iivitics benefit adults with disrdbilili¢s by dcveloping self-confidence and social skills. These projects offer
new experi¢nc¢s, promotes an increased sense of wellbeing, and enables community involv¢m¢nt.
Summer Dr•ma Project
Monday 09 June- Friday 13 June.

Thc project provided twenty-on¢ a¢tors the opportunity to collaborat¢ with th¢ award-winning writer/dire¢tor Mr J
Binni¢ and Mr R Mitchel photographerldesigner.
A devised perfornw)¢¢ of William Shakespeare's play As you lik¢ it was chosen for the project. The perforniance
was opeT] to the public ond the audience inviied io support ￿ through a bucket collection at the entrance.
An invitstion by Art Moves to join the actors and stag¢ ¢r¢w for refreshments, thus enabling a fantastic opportunity
for feedback.

Our main 50ur¢¢ of funds this year has been 4clivity fees. We use general funds to subsidise activity costs and do noi
hold a reserv¢s policy. This was reviewed on march 27th and no change modc
Much of our ineome is applied to the Drama wilh the main costs incurred being, professional fces and venue hir¢.

Future Plans
The coming year will see a contirtued emphasis on the Summer Drama Proj¢¢l and other o¢tivities to build on ihe
positive impact of taking part in the Arts.

The charity's Ttustees are responsibl¢ for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the lernis of the Chariiies
and Trustecs Investmenl (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulations 2006. The charity

provide all the cvidence that would be required in an audit. and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the
