The organisation’s purposes are to encapsulate the mission “nothing about us without us” for older people services. To advance education, relieve poverty and promote the social recreational and welfare good of older people resident in the Highland area. To combat social isolation, marginalisation and powerlessness experienced by older people living in the Highland area through collective advocacy, including. Developing and monitoring the quality and effectiveness of services for older people across the Highland area. Stimulating and helping to facilitate innovative work in service development at local and national levels. Promoting social inclusion, equality and diversity and active participation in older people services in the Highland area. By assisting the work of statutory, public and voluntary organisations in relation to provision of such facilities. By doing anything which promotes the purposes provided that such will not relieve any such
