## Governing Document

The Club is a charitable unincorporated association and the purposes and administration arrangements are set out in our constitution.

## Charitable Purpose

Our purpose, as set out in our constitution, is to provide items for the patients not provided by the NHS and to arrange outings and entertainment, all to improve the quality of life for the patients.

## Activities and Achievements

In the year to December 2025 generous donations of £29,349 were received, of which £25,682 were received from families of past & present hospital patients. The largest single family donation was £10,000. The charity took advantage of these larger donations and acquired five reclining chairs at a total cost of £16,967 and four mattresses costing £8,938. Having the Therapeutic mattresses and the Recliner chairs on the ward enhances patient

experience and aids recovery. The chairs also benefit patients wishing to go outside into the garden. These chairs are not available in Acute hospital settings so patients that can become bed bound now have the opportunity to sit up out of bed.

in addition, similar to previous years, we have provided Wellness and Therapy days which have become very popular with the patients, Weve bought a Gazebo, Plants and Bird Feeders to help patients enjoy the hospital gardens. Each patient receives gifts at Easter and Christmas. We have also replaced 3 TVs due to age, wear and tear.

## Reserves and the Year Ahead

As at 31° December, 2025 the Charity held unrestricted funds of £50,731. These funds are held to further the aims of the Charity.

Approved by the trustees and signed on their behalf.
