**What the charity does:** The charity was set up to encourage members of the local and wider community learn and participate in music making activity./ However, activity is now virtually zero.

**Objectives:** The object of the Society shall be to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of performed music in a broad range of styles by i) the presentation of an annual Music Festival, generally comprising one or more ticketed concerts, open performance music sessions in local venues and workshops in various aspects of musical performance and techniques. ii) co-ordinating and facilitating open performance music sessions in the local and wider area throughout the year. iii) for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide.
