## **Governing Document** 

Life Transforming Ministries was registered with OSCR on 29[th] December 2002 and governed by its constitution effective from the same date. It is an unincorporated Association. 

## **Appointment of Trustees** 

Trustees are appointed and removed in accordance with the Trust Deed, requiring unanimous agreement of the existing trustees. 

## **Risk Assessment** 

The trustees continue to review the major risks facing the charity. As noted in previous reports, “policies and procedures are in place for the protection of children and vulnerable adults.” This remains a core safeguarding priority. 

## **Envoronmental Policy** 

‑ Although Life Transforming Ministries is a small, volunteer led charity with minimal environmental footprint, the trustees recognise their responsibility to operate in a way that reflects good stewardship of resources. 

The charity is committed to: 

- Minimising waste by using digital communication and record ‑ keeping wherever possible. 

- Reducing energy use within any facilities used for youth activities, ensuring lights, heating, and equipment are used efficiently. 

- Encouraging environmental awareness among young people through teaching, example, and community engagement. 

- Choosing sustainable suppliers for future programme materials where practical. 

This policy will be reviewed annually as the charity’s activities expand. 

## **OBJECTS & ACTIVITIES** 

The purpose of the Trust is “the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ” and the advancement of religion and educational development of young people. 

The charity continues to work in partnership with Mintlaw Community Church to support youth engagement and development.

## **ACHIEVEMENTS & PERFORMANCE** 

During 2025, Life Transforming Ministries focused on maintaining its organisational readiness for future youth work. As in 2024, no formal youth events were held, and activity remained limited while the trustees continued to strengthen the charity’s foundations. 

A key development in recent years has been the securing of a dedicated facility in Mintlaw, which will serve as a hub for future youth initiatives. The trustees remain encouraged by the potential this space offers for outreach, mentoring, and community engagement. 

Although 2025 saw no operational activity and no income, the trustees continued to explore funding opportunities, partnership development, and programme planning to ensure the ‑ charity is well positioned for growth. 

The trustees express gratitude for the ongoing support of Mintlaw Community Church and the wider community. 

## **FINANCIAL REVIEW** 

The only transaction during the year was the payment of £320 in professional services. The balance of the Bank account remained at £174. 

There were no donations, grants, or other income during the year. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

Although the governing document does not specify a reserves policy, the trustees ensure the bank account remains in surplus and appropriate for the charity’s scale of activity. 

## **Donated Facilities & Services** 

None 

## **The financial effect of significant events** 

There were no significant events during the financial period. 

## **Investment policy & objectives set** 

There are no plans for raising of debt, or major expenditures at the time of approval of this document. 

## **Charities policy on reserves** 

There is no mention of a preserves policy in the Charity’s governing document. However, the Charity Trustee’s ensure that the bank account remain in surplus. 

## **Going concern** 

The trustees confirm there is no uncertainty regarding the charity’s ability to continue operating. 

**Statement of disclosure of the Independent Examination:** In so far as the Trustees are aware at the time of approving our Trustee’s annual report, there is no relevant information, being information needed by the Independent Examiner in connection with preparing their report, of which the Independent Examiner is unaware.

## **Media** 

The charity currently has no social media presence. Trustees intend to establish appropriate channels when activities resume. 

The Trustees believe that this report is a fair, balanced and an understandable review of the charity’s structure, legal purposes, objectives and activities, financial performance & financial position.

## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT** 

FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2025 

## TO THE TRUSTEES OF “LIFE TRANSFORMING MINISTRIES TRUST” 

## Scottish Registered Charity SC034117 

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31[ST] December 2025 which are set out on pages 8 to 10. 

## Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Auditors 

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (a) to (c) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. 

## Basis of audit opinion 

My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts. 

## Independent Examiner’s statement 

In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention 

1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: 

- to keep accounting records in accordance with section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations, and 

- to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations 

have not been met, or 

2.    to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
