Lanarkshire Links is a mental health charity for service users and their carers. people affected by mental health issues in Lanarkshire. Our members are experts by experience in living with mental health problems or caring for someone who lives with a mental health problem. We work to increase understanding and knowledge about mental health. encourage and facilitate change of services and resources. and to give service users, their carers, families, and friends the opportunity to express their views. We facilitate Mental Health & Wellbeing Groups throughout Lanarkshire, bringing members together to share their experiences of services, and support their recovery through informal peer support. Our peer workers at Wishaw and Hairmyres hospitals, work with and empower patients within the acute mental health wards. The Stigma Free Lanarkshire team encourage participation and action through partnership working, delivering awareness sessions, and bringing people together.
