The Association has continued to support former members of the King's Own Scottish Borderers and their families and dependants in accordance with its aims and objectives. Applications from K.O.S.B. veterans and their families for welfare assistance and benevolence grants are processed and almonised by RHQ Scots, with financial assistance funded by the Association. The Association also organises and maintains the annual Minden Day Parade through Berwick-upon-Tweed each year.

Beneficiaries: 'Other defined groups'

Objectives: To relieve suffering, hardship and distress and promote the relief of need among (a) men or women who have at any time served with the Regiment of the King's Own Scottish Borderers and (b) wives, widows, husbands, widowers, children and dependants of any of them by making grants of money, loans, guarantees and generally by any other financial methods and generally by aiding, assisting and promoting the benefit of all such persons in any manner which is charitable.
