The charity's objects are to promote and maintain a Care and Repair service in Argyll and Bute. We remain an independently operated Care And Repair Service and part of the national network of locally managed and funded Care and Repair organisations that assist the over 60's and people living with disability(s) or a long-term debilitating condition to carry out adaptions, repairs and improvements to their homes. This enables the client group to remain secure in their own homes and communities for as long as they wish, or is reasonably practicable, in comfort and safety
Beneficiaries: 'Older People','People with disabilities or health problems'
Objectives: The company's objects are: (a) To advance health, and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other. (b) To relieve the needs of residents of Argyll & Bute, in particular the elderly and people suffering from any mental or physical disability, illness or impairment by encouraging, supporting and/or assisting such individuals to have their homes adapted, repaired and/or upgraded to meet their needs, all with a view to improving their conditions of life (c) To advance education and in particular to raise awareness among the general public of issues relating to the welfare of the elderly and people suffering from any mental or physical disability, illness or impairment. (d) To advance community development and to promote, establish, operate and/or support other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the residents of Argyll & Bute.
