**What the charity does:** The Addiction Recovery Centre was formed in 2002 to address the gap in services for people suffering from addictions.  The centre is based on complete abstinence and a programme for how to live in recovery - this is the conerstone of our centre projects.

**Objectives:** The objects of the group. shall be to relieve the needs and preserve and protect the health of persons who have or have had a life controlling addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling or other such addictions with a view to improving their conditions of life.
