**What the charity does:** Cranhill Development Trust (CDT) empowers and improves the quality of life within Cranhill. Established in 2002, CDT has become a trusted community resource, addressing poverty, wellbeing, employability, and social inclusion. We foster a strong community spirit, ensuring access to essential resources that help local people thrive. Our programs include employment and skills support, health and wellbeing initiatives, social activities, and food security efforts. CDT’s full-time Digital Worker offers digital assistance, the Employability team supports job-seekers, and the Cranhill Community Shop provides affordable food options. As we grow, CDT is investing in a redevelopment project to expand inclusive spaces for more activities and services, strengthening our commitment to a resilient Cranhill community.

**Objectives:** 4. The company has been formed to benefit the community of Cranhill, Glasgow and environs which comprises the postcode districts G32, G33 and G34 (the “Community”) with the following objects: 4.1 the advancement of community development (including the advancement of urban regeneration) within the Community. 4.2 to provide within the Community facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation available to the public at large with a view to improving their conditions of life. 4.3 to relieve poverty, particularly among residents of the Community. 4.4 to relieve unemployment for the public benefit particularly among residents of the Community in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment. 4.5 to promote education, and with particular reference to the provision of training in skills which will assist residents of the Community in finding paid employment and the provision of health education for residents of the Community. 4.6 to relieve ill health, particularly among residents of the Community. 4.7 to relieve the needs of people, and particularly those resident in the Community, who suffer from mental and/or physical disability, illness or impairment or have problems of addiction. 4.8 to help young people, and particularly those resident in the Community, to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities such that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and as members of society. and 4.9 to promote public safety within the Community, but only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
