Objectives: 1. To develop and implement co-ordinated disability sport and physical activity initiatives. 2. To assist local community sports clubs, coaches and volunteers to develop their own services around disability inclusion. 3. To support and engage with families to make transitioning into sport and physical activity a streamlined process. 4. To support athletes to progress to recognised squads & competitions appropriate to their classification / disability and ability. 5. To improve the physical and mental well-being of people with a disability taking part in sporting activity in the Scottish Borders. 6. To offer grant assistance to encourage sport and physical activity engagement amongst individuals with a disability. 7. To enhance links with public services, educational services, private sector and charitable organisations. 8. To apply and secure funds through Grant Aid Schemes to support the implementation and sustainability of BOS initiatives.
