Trustee recrultment and appolntment Objectives and activities Charltable purposes Scottish Indian Arts Forum (SIAF), registered Scottish charity (SC033214} had been promoting Indian culture and arts, in and around Edinburgh, Ihrough different music and dance events around key Indian festivals since ils inception in August 1994. SIAF is governed by duly approved Constitution wth an Executive Committee to manage all aspects of the organisalion. The Committee comprises of members from different faiths with Iheir origin from different parts of India which makes it a truly secular and all-encompassing Indlan organisalion in Edinburgh. The Committee members has wide experiences in communlty engagement. and all offer their services on a voluntary basis so there is zero cost towards staff hence the entire fund is dedicated lo the production of events. Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charlty during the financial period Scollish Indian Arts Forum was established in August 1994 and this year vias our 28th year of operation. We organised and lebrated a series of events during the year. SIAF'S Annual BBQ 2024 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm, for the first Ilme, we asked members to bring their own cutlery as to as lo mlnlmise waste which was supported by the members wholeheartedly. People enjoyed the day event a lot. SIAF Annual HOLI was held in March, celebrating the festival ol Colours. il brought the community together. 11 was fijn filled event. SIAF organised Dusherra during Ocl.. It was great lo see so many people turning up and enjoying the festivilies. A great line up of progr8ms were lined up along with fireworks. The event was mentioned in the Scottish Parliament as well.
