**What the charity does:** Burgh Out of School club is set up to provide after school childcare to primary school aged children in Galashiels. We provide sessions Monday to Friday from school closing time until 5.30pm during term time. Our club operates from a classroom in The Burgh Primary School, Galashiels. Our staff are SSSC registered and qualified in line with Care Inspectorate requirements.

**Objectives:** a) to promote the care and education of children in need of care during out of school hours and school holidays and to promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of such children in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life and   b) to advance the education and training of persons providing such care and education recreational facilities.
