The charity exists to advance the education and appreciation of traditional Scottish pipe band music and culture by providing high-quality tuition and development opportunities for young people aged 8 to 21. This is achieved through structured instruction in piping and drumming, supporting members to develop their musical ability, encouraging participation in performances and competitions, and promoting Scottish musical heritage through community engagement and public events. The charity is committed to providing an inclusive, supportive and positive environment where young people can develop confidence, teamwork, discipline and leadership skills while representing Caithness with pride at local, national and international events
