The trustees. who are also director5 of the charity lor the purpose of the Companies Act 2006, present their report
with the financial statements of the charity foi the year ended 31 January 2025. The tNstees have adopted the
provision of Accounting and Reportin8 by Charities.. St2￿Ment of Retommended Practice applicable to charitie5
preparing their accounts in accordance wrth the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective l January 20191.
OBJEcfivES AND AcfiviTIES
The trust is constituitd to promote the conseNatitin. restor*ion and improvement of the forest woodland for the
benelit of the public.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
A sUCCE55ful 22nd KFT anniveT5ary 88Qwas held on 31stAugu5t 2024 with marquee. entertainment for chtldren
e.8. treasure hunt, mini Highland Garne5 and INe music as well as free food. The weather that day was perfect
for this landmaik ￿mmunity occasion. There was a raffle wth 8enerous priie5 donated by local businesses.
Feedback has been m95t P051tive particularty from parents.
The new website is now live providing an infofmative online presence providing the history of the forest5
creation and subsequent communrty buy out. It also provides informatM)n on forest walks for users. The cost-
elfective annual hosting seThite is undertaken by the Hebridean tompany who created the website. They are
social charity enterprise company.
At the 2024 AGM several new boafd members were recruited providing a wider range of gender and agè of
dtrettor5.
Ongoing general maintenance of the track and footpaths including strirnminK and sprayin&
Continue5 to be an estsbli5hed recTeatioftal arnenity popular with loca15 and visitors.
Local crofters continue to make8ood use of the acces5 throu8h theforest for the enhanced management ol th
township sheep floc

The net outgoing resources for the year amounted to £21.36812024 £7.4431. The unrestricted fvnds are £158,8H

The financial statements of the charitsble company, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been
prepared in accordance with the Charitie5 SORP IFRS 1021'Accounting and Reporting by Charitie5'. Statement of
Recommended Pr2ctice applicable to charilies preparing their accounts in accordantt with the Flnancial
Reporling Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FR5 1021 lefferttve l January 20191. Financial
Reporting Standard 102 Yhe Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland. and the
Companies Act 2￿6. The fin3ncial 5tatern*nts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Artivities once thè charity has entitlement to the fvnds.
