The purpose of the Scoul Association is to promote the developmenl of young people In ￿hleVIng their full
physical, inlelleclual, social and spiritual potenlials, as individuals. as r8sponsible citoens and as members of
their local. national and international communities. The methfxl of achieving the aim of the Association is by
providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law and
guided by adull18ad8r8hip.

The Group'5 Trustees consider that the audit requiremonl of R8gulalion 10(1)(d> of the Accounts Rcgulalions
does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under sg¢tion 44(11(cl of the Act and to

My 8x8rnin8tion is carried out in accordanca with Ragulation 11 of the Charities Accoun18 (Scotland) Regulation8
