Barrhead Burgh Band is established to promote, develop and sustain brass band music within the local community. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to learn, rehearse and perform music, supporting both musical education and personal development. The band delivers regular rehearsals, public performances and community engagements, including concerts, parades and civic events. We also encourage participation through training and mentoring of new and developing players. By maintaining an active presence in the community, we aim to advance appreciation of brass band music, preserve its heritage, and provide a positive, inclusive environment that supports wellbeing, teamwork and cultural enrichment.

Objectives: The object of the Band shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals. and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other exclusively charitable purposes as the Executive Committee may from time to time decide
