Our charity is set up to care for and maintain the war memorial at Glenbarr for the community. This involves keeping the area tidy by cutting grass and controlling weeds and organising maintenance for the monument and the surrounding fencing. Additionally we organise and hold the annual service of remembrance for the community and include youth organisations to perpetuate interest in the purpose of the memorial. Events are also organised to mark significant events relating to the memorial.

Objectives: The said subjects are dedicated and shall be held by us and our successors as Trustees in all time coming for the purposes upholding thereon of a War Memorial in the Parish of Killean and Kilkenzie, Kintyre Argyll or for such other purposes as may be substituted therefore
