**What the charity does:** The purposes of the Trust are to preserve and maintain the Woodhead and Windyhills geological deposits and woodlands (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) and to promote access and interpretation amongst the local community and the wider population. Our purpose is to also promote protection and conservation of the woodland fauna and flora.

**Objectives:** a) To relieve poverty among the residents within Central Aberdeenshire.  b) To education the public, in the protection of the environment and conservation of wildlife.  c) To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of Central Aberdeenshire in obtaining paid employment.  d) To promote, establish and operate other schemes ofa charitable nature for the benefit of the community.
