Loud n proud is a youth work music organisation based in the West End of Paisley. Since 2001, Loud n Proud has worked with thousands of young people who want to learn and play music or music tech. We have built relationships and supported them through their journey to become full time musicians, music teachers, music techs or helped them get a place in College or University and for most helped them simply enjoy music. We’re a community of around 100 young people and 12 staff and volunteers. We’re a colourful, noisy bunch, with big hearts and often big challenges in life. The way we work is simple (but not easy). We throw open our doors and welcome all who come in and grow a music community together based around the needs, interests, and ambitions of the students. Loud n Proud is open to all without prejudice or distinction of religion, race, culture, disability, gender identity, sexuality or politics.
Objectives: a) To advance education particularly among young people and the unemployed b) To promote and or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist people in obtaining paid employment in the creative industries c) To promote, establish and operate other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community
