The robust service rota is stlll In plate 311 equipment has been serviced over the year, Shopmobility has incre35ed its fTeet
of 30 type5 of kooters. ranging between Boot Scooter5, Pavemenr Scooters. and general-purpose vehicles, as well as 12
m?rTual wheelch3ir5 and 6 walkers. The Project has experienced the kindness of the lotsl community wilh manv
eqk5ipment donation5, who are able to name the equipment in memorE31 to lost loved ones. AmoDg5t oui eouipmÈnt aro
also bathroDtll aSSlStance aids.
The cost to replace each piece of mobility equiprnent can r3nge betWEeTr £80O-£2SDO Tht equipment generally requires an
annual service, however ShDpmobility hatrÈ a stricr seNice rota. due to the high usage of the ride-on equipment.
The project hès increased the amount of equipment available for the local community. The lockable container which was
purchased to store 311 our sm311 equipynent svch as wheelchairs, rollators and variou5 Other odds and end5 which are
50metime5 in Llernand, is well stocked.
Marketin
Shopmobility Lochaber has a wide r3nge of marketing materials. including leaflets, business cards, ènd personally designed
fridge rnag￿ets and keyrtngs, completed by a local primary school in e3rly 2019,

Shopmobility has recently received the Brcoullts for 2023- 2024, which have been duly veThlied by Voluntary Action
Lochaber, and are available for a15 to view upon request.

receipt of the £8.000 from The Corr3 Found3tion (Henry Duncan Fund). That hÈlpÈd ta sustain the project through the

Don3tions, from long and short-term scooter use totalled £8,945 lor the yeèr. so all in all itwas a fairly fruitful year.
Shopmobility lochaber is con515tently overwhelmed by the support received by Service Users 3nd local buslnesses alike
and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their help throughout the year.
It 15 proposed that Voluntsry Action Lochaberfs service5 are retalned for the comsng financial year 2024-2025.

Total income for the year was £30,746. Expetiditur2 for same period was £33.717 resultinB in a deficit of E2,970. ReseNes
held at year end were £24,382 of unrestricted funds.
Reserves Pollcy
There is no rEquirernent in the Constitutlon for reserves howeverthe Trustees have a policy to hold 3 months of
unrestrirted spend in reserves.
Plans for future period
With the growing need for the service, it is still the focus of Shopmobility Lochaber to bectsme a permanent part of the
a￿0 and push toward5 achieving a fit for purpose buildin8 to house the growing fleet and staff.
Either way it has been a thallengin8 yet succe55ful year for Shopmobility Lochaber. and we are excited and Icokin8 forward
