## Recruitment and appointment of trustees: - 

All the trustees are appointed by the members at the annual general meeting which is held in July each year at the Portobello Pakistani Educational & Cultural Centre, 3 Fishwives Causeway, Edinburgh, EH15 1DF. 

## Trustee Remunerations and Expenses:- 

All trustees are working voluntarily, and they have to take care of all expenses to and from the centre on their own, without receiving any remunerations or expenses during the year. 

## Objectives: 

The objectives of the association shall be to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the ethnic Community in Portobello and surrounding area including:- 

\V The advancement of education 

- \ The relief of poverty 

- \ The furtherance of health and the provision of facilities 

- \ The furtherance of social welfare 

- \ For recreation and other leisure time 

- \ For occupation with the object of promoting racial harmony 

- \ Alleviating isolation 

- \ Improving the conditions of the life of the aforementioned community. 

## Activitiesand achievements :- 

The centre was renovated according to the local community, to get more provisions and facilities for local residents in the community. Also opened at accessible times for convenience of residents. Further educational Seminars are held for general public twice a week. 

## Financial Review 

Reserves will be carried forward for future expenses.
