Objectives: (1) To build, develop, maintain, repair, conserve, restore and/ or improve Port Ellen Harbour for the benefit of the general public, in particular the residents of Islay and Jura. (2) To relieve unemployment in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment. (3) To provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation available to the public at large with a view to improving their conditions of life. (4) To promote, establish, operate and/or support other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the general public.
