Scottl$h Soclaty for Rheumatology Y4ar gndad 30 S8ptgmber 2024 Notes to the Accounts 1 Ba$1$ of Accountlng These accounts have been prepared on the Receipts and Payments basis in accordance wlh the Charities & Trustees Investment IScolland} Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Swllondl .Regulalions 2006. 2 Nature and purpose of funds Unreslricled funds are those that may be used al the discretion of the Irusl8es in furtherance of th8 objèctlves of the cliarily. The Iruslees maintain a single unreslricled fund for the day-lo- day running of the charity. The closlng balance of unreslrlcled funds stands al £51,436. Reslrlcled funds may only be used for specific purposes. Reslriclions arise when specified by IhB donor or wh8n funds are raised for specillc purposes. In 2013. the society received a donation of £5,000 from Roche Pharmaceutical.
