**What the charity does:** We have three member societies being the Society of Scottish Artists, the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour and Visual Arts Scotland. Our role is to lease the Royal Scottish Academy galleries ('RSA') from the National Galleries of Scotland to facilitate the holding of exhibitions in the RSA by the member societies.

**Objectives:** The object for which the Society is established is for the benefit of the public in Scotland to advance education by promoting, improving and advancing public understanding and appreciation of arts by facilitating exhibitions.
