Promote health and well being in older people. There are over 40 walking groups in the Moray/Aberdeenshire/Aberdeen City area which meet regularly to walk. Many members live alone and the social aspect of the walk is as important as the physical health side. Members share their experiences via Facebook and through our triannual magazine, AGEnda, with some people being particularly active contributors which is an outlet for their social/creative skills. In addition we hold 2 walking events a year for all members to come together, meet and mingle and to share/learn new walks. We also hold a Spring Fling and a Ramblers Rendezvous, events attended by over 200 members which allow them not only to try new walks but also to try new activities such as pickleball, yoga, paracise, ebikes etc or to try various crafts. We use local groups as volunteers to help run these activities which provides more opportunity for mixing with others meaningfully.

Objectives: To promote the welfare, in any manner that is deemed to be charitable in law and in particular the provision of educational and recreational opportunities, of persons over 50 who reside in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and the County of Moray.
