**What the charity does:** To provide donations to charities advancing education, promoting health and relieving poverty mainly ( but not exclusively) in Africa. Funds are raised by offering a convivial community Coffee Shop, homemade Craft Stall and Project Lunches.

**Objectives:** To relieve poverty and advance education particularly but not exclusively in Africa and in furtherance thereof Common Grounds shall provide a local focus for fund raising activities and events. This focus shall be principally through the operation of a coffee shop, selling donated goods and fairly traded goods. All proceeds shall be solely used to support its Objectives. The shop shall be staffed and managed principally by volunteers.
