On 6 November 2024, The Scots Fiddle Festival converted 118 legal fomi from a company limlted by
guararrtee, to a Scottlsh Charitable Incorporated Organlsatlon (SCIO). The Scots Flddla Fastival is
reglstered charity, and is govemed by its Constitution.
The tnMtO88 oversee a commrttee of dedlcat•d volunteer8 help to run the fo$tlval. The tru8tee8
appoint an artlstlc dlrector to Specificalty over88& the musical and artistic programmlng of the festival. In
addition lo Ihe trustees, and the artistic director, a commlttee of volunteers work throughout ts yèar to plan
th• fo8llval. Wthout the dedication of the89 committee mam￿r3, th• f•stfval could not run.

The Scot8 Fiddle Fe8tlval 2024 took plac• on 15. 18 and 17 November 2024. based at The Ploa8arK• In
Edlnburgh.
The Fesllval had 11 daytlme recrtals over the waekend, Includlng Iwo tr8trt￿attend recitals whlch wer•
dèslgnated as famlty frlendty ¢onc•rts, and one 'Trad Tunes for Balms. redtal which was a180
frefrtfrattsrKI and designed for very young chlldren. 23 workshops took place over the weekend, Includl
e youth workshop. Th18 year a180 saw the continuatlon of fra&t￿attend led 8es8lon8, and the fr••
latmlght Fe8tlvaJ dub on Saturday nlgm.
Over the feslSval weekend itself, an additsoMI group of ar￿nd 20 volunteer3 helped wllh th• handsryon
operation of Ihe festival Indudng 8tewarding, tlcket collectson, hosting workshops etc. The commlttee
•xt8nd8 It8 thar*8 to all the volunteers helped make the Festival p0881ble.
