Trustees Re ort:A ril 2024- March 2025 Charl Vislon Living Water5 Christian Centre Is a Church and Charitable Organisation that exlsts to Glorlfy God reachlng out to our comrnunlty and beyond wlth love, care and compassion and demonstrating God's love In a practical way Mlsslon To Homeless Chlldren In the year ended 31st March 2025 the Charlty Llving Waters Chrlstlan Centre contlnues to oversee the mission to Homeless Children's Work In Morogoro, Tanianla. 54 chlldren continue to receive ongoing financial 5UPPOrt for school fees and ongoing stationary items. We now assist two Independent small bu5inesse5. One 15 5ellin8 perishable gcods and the other business Involves telephone banking to help general local funds as well as our new chicken project. We have a trip planned for June this year with 7 volunteers vislting Tanzanla. Chari Sho Living Waters Charlty Is rentlng a large shop In Harnllton called 'Second Chance Charlty Shop,. This year the charity shop has had some financial challenges. Thls Is due to a number of factors e.8. Staffing Issues (as we remain heavily on volunteers), opening times and general footfall. Tracy Anne Fields continues to work 20 hours per week, managing the shop. Tracy's experlence worklng In this sector has continued to be Invaluable to the charity. The shop contlnues to support some local projects. Teen Challe The project aims to provlde cafe and community to those who are rnarglnalised in society such as the homeless, those caught In addictlon and substance abuse. Over the past 12 months we have obtained sin8le decker bus, whlch has been converted for outreach purposes. However, due to some mechanical issues there has been a delay In restartlng thls project. Parent Toddler5 Parent and Toddlers is a local group whlch meets every Friday mornln8 at the church. Klrsty and her team of volunteers provide a warrn welcome and safe environment for both parents and children. Parents and chlldren flnd thls to be an invaluable free community resource. Youn Adults At the beglnnlng of the year a new group was formed for young adults, who meet fortnightly at the church. The group helps to develop falth, fellowshlp and frlendshlp• throu8h soclal Inleractloti. Bulldin Renovatlons This year the charity has renovated exlstlng premlses at 63 Crossgates Bellshlll. Thls Included: upgradlng of decoration, flooring, lighting, curtalns and some muslcal equlpment.
Overall In the past year, Living Waters has continued to thrive and make posltlve Impact in the local communlty with action-based outreach. We would like to give a special thanks to all staff. volunteers, and admlnistratlve team for their continuous support and tireless efforts in helplng the charity move forward.
