Kirk for their end-of-terni Summer and Christinas Services. Airlie Primary held similar ¢vei)ts in Iheir bchool
hall. The mii)isler visits io iakL school asscmblies.
The strong L'onneclion iviih Kilry Village Hall has coi)linued with the church building used io provide
additional accommodation for the Kilry Sumnier Fa>Ye. The minister is Vice Chair of the Hall Management
Cominillee.

beii)g held in prii'ate liomes and the Manse dining room.
Along i¥'iih every other Chuwh of Sioiland parish and congregatioi). The Isla Parishes has been en8a8ed in
the pr¢x¢ss of Pr¢sbyterv Mission Planning. The Kirk Session plajs ai) active part in the life and N'ork of the
new. enlar¥ed Perth Presbylet!. with Ilie Minisler l￿d Presbytery Elder 8tiendii)g m¢eiings in person and on
Zooni.
The siron8 ¢ore of The Isla Parishes has display¢d a resilieiice and 8 faiihful confidence in God whicli has
enabled the congregation to look to the future with eonfidence and hope.
Fundraising
The Fundraising Committee or¥ftnis¢d ii¥o very w'ell supported events durii?g the year. The Flower Fe5tiN'al in
Ma>, resulted in ihe church being am'ash with colour. infused w'ith bealltiful scen15 and very bus). wilh visitors.
Stalls selling plants. honie baking and crafl items: 108eiher with voluntary doi)ations, rai8ed a substantial
amouni for Church funds. With deli¢i011s food. coiii'ivial company and excellent entertainment the Candlelit
Dinner. lield in December, ￿'aS another social #nd financial success. The Committee were &l%o responsible for
en¢oura¥ing donations via a Smartie Tube iiiitiatii'e ￿.hICh resulted in a welcom¢ boosi to the churcl) s income.

Financial Review
The principal source of income is from member offerings given throU￿h staiiding order, bank transfer,
Weekly Freewill Offering. open plate and 01)e-off donations.

(20) donors using direct bank transfer: sotlle on an irregular b&sis.

subsequent distribution of tl)ese funds.
The conversion of ihe i¢stry into loil¢t and kitch¢n¢tte facilities during 2024 Qost £18.871 and the unplanned
r¢placement of the manse oil tank cost £3.153.
Reserves Policy
It is the Trustees, policy to hold reserves in desigrkated savings funds. Th¢s¢ may be a mixture of cash deposi(S
and investments and ar¢ held by ourselves or b! ilie Churlli of Scotland General I'ruslees on our behalf. Some

Alterations to the vestry io provide toilet and kit¢hen fa¢ilities weff compl¢t¢d durin8 the ye8r.
Uiiexpected damage lo tl)e manse's oil tank resulted in a new base and tank being installed.

(a5 amended) ("the 2006 regulations"). Th¢ ¢harity's trust¢es eonsider that the audit r¢quirement of Regulation 10(] ) (d)
of the Accounts Regulaiions does not apply. It 15 my re5pon5ibility to examine the a¢counts as r¢quir¢d under section 44
{1 ) Ic) of the 2005 Act and to slate whether particular matters have Come to my attention.
