Built in 1893, Cove Burgh Hall (CBH) is a company limited by guarantee (SC217153), registered charity (SCO31926), and entirely run by volunteers. Its mission is: ‘to be the ‘village hall’, the vibrant, focal hub and interface for the communities of Cove, Kilcreggan and the wider Rosneath Peninsula residents, contributing important social, cultural and recreational value to the lives of local people, inclusive of all social groups, within a well maintained, quality physical infrastructure’. In community ownership since 2001, CBH has a proven track record of prudent management and sustainability over that 25-year period. It operates as a creative hub at the heart of the community, hosting a wide range of interests, including religious, cultural, health and well-being, and arts. Through Live@CBH Events, it is a venue for fund raising activities e.g. theatre, live music, concerts, book and real ale festivals. All combine to contribute to enhancing the local community.

Objectives: To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Cove and Kilcreggan and provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare of members of the public, both male and female, whether as individuals or as members of local, voluntary or other organisations, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended.
