The chlld or children come with parent, grand-parent or other responsible adult, occasionally a child minder, to the group.  The purpose is to generate stimulation for the little ones and provide company and inter-action for the adult.  Through good quality toys there is an opportunity to learn through play by virtue of basic jigsaws and simple craft activities.  On alternate weeks there is a music time which is much enjoyed by the children (helped by the adult accompanying them also participating) when they learn the actions to simple songs/nursery rhymes.
