**What the charity does:** The Scout Group is responsible for supporting Scouting within Crossford and the surrounding area.  The Group continues to run weekly sessions for all Sections during School term time and to organise events, outings and camps throughout the year to encourage the development of our young people. As far as possible, the training and activities delivered will follow the Scout Organisation’s policy of preparing young people with Skills for Life.

**Objectives:** ‘Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society’
