Its Trustees are the volunteer adult leaders trained and appointed as guiders in terms of the guiding manual. Annual up date training is available throughout the year.

The charity's aim is to deliver a programme of informa! education in accordance with the ethos and principles of Giriguiding UK. During the above period the charity provided this programme to 30 girls.

The charity's main income is subscription income. The charity aims to hold sufficient cash funds to meet all expenditure due and anticipated during a 2 month period.

The unit received £2783 in subscriptions this year, and paid out £1404 for the annual subscriptions. This year the unit worked hard on fundraising for their trip to Amsterdam to participate in Amsterdam Adventure 2025 where they raised £3187.28 and a further £61.22 in donations. Gift aid came in at £871.37 which went towards the trip to Dalguise in November. £1424.10 income was for trips to the Gang Show and Pantomime with the group and £1190.75 was spent. £20,820.79 came in for Residential Events - mainly for the 32 participants to go to Amsterdam, but also for a camping trip in May and Dalguise in November. The unit spent £23,684.85 on the residentials - which was also from money collected in the previous accounts due to the timeline of the residentials. The unit spent £563.81 on materials for weekly meetings, and £333.30 on badges and resources. The unit spent £375 on hall rent. £36.90 and £30 respectively went on admin/postage and first aid training for leaders. £882 misc income came in relating to wrong account payments, and £1203 on misc expenditure was for Rangers subscriptions who moved from Guides up, and where we refunded some parents for trips their Guide could no longer attend

During the year the trustees did not receive any remuneration.

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (a) to (c) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

Basis of Independent Examiners Statement

My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees conceming any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, | do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.
