Capital City Partnership promotes community regeneration by using a robust evidence base to report on and add value to local programmes and mainstream services aimed at tackling aspects of exclusion, disadvantage and poverty. It continues to bring together key statutory, voluntary, community and private sector organizations to promote change and joint working in order to address poverty. Drawing on the expertise of the staff team and its partners, CCP identifies and addresses the barriers to social inclusion by promoting a collaborative approach to tackling poverty

Objectives: 4 The company's objects are :- 4.1 To relieve poverty by the introduction of measures designed to alleviate unemployment and give access to employment. 4.2 To advance education by the provision of training and educational opportunities, with a view to developing particular skills which will assist the participants to find work, develop personal and social skills, reduce anti-social behaviour and promote social inclusion. 4.3 To advance mental and physical health. 4.4 To provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities available to members of the public at large, with the object of improving their conditions of life. 4.5 To relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. 4.6 To advance environmental protection and improvement and provide public amenities. 4.7 To advance citizenship and community development. and 4.8 To promote , establish, operate and/or support other similar schemes and projects which further charitable purposes. and to do so in a manner which respects the principles of equality of opportunity and avoids any form of discrimination whether on the grounds of sex, marital status , race, ethnic origin, gender, sexual preference, age, disability, religion or otherwise.
