Objectives: The purposes of the Trust are to support any charitable purposes in or connected with the Burgh of Musselburgh (as known prior to the Local Government (Scotland) Act 197~) in particular the provision of financial support for purposes that would be considered charitable in law specifically (but not exclusively) those that will advance the education of the public in the history and culture of the former Burgh of Musselburgh and particularly the Org nisation of the Honest Toun's Association Festival Week, the Riding of the Marches and the Fisherrow Fishermen's Walk and to do all things as will properly attain these purposes. The purposes and objects set out in this clause are hereinafter called 'the purposes of the Trust
