The Association was formed to establish, maintain and manage a Community Centre - the Ceilidh House and Heritage Centre. The Centre is run for the benefit of the inhabitants of Arnisdale & Loch Hourn by providing facilities in support of social welfare for recreation and leisure time activities.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: (a) to promote the use of, manage and maintain the “The Ceilidh House & Heritage Centre” (the “Centre”) for the benefit of the inhabitants of Arnisdale and Loch Hourn and their environs and the public at large without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. (b) provide or assist in providing recreational facilities and activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the Community. (c) to advance the education of the Community and the public at large about the Community’s environment, culture, heritage and history. (d) to advance the arts, heritage, culture and community development, including urban or rural regeneration within the Community. (e) to advance environmental protection or improvement, including preservation, sustainable development and conservation of the natural environment, the maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities for the Community and/or the preservation of buildings or sites of architectural, historic or other importance to the Community. and (f) to undertake any other charitable objective.
