We provide sustainable sources of quality education to children living in poor and marginalized communities. Key to our to our business model is COCO mission as a children’s charity that provides sustainable sources of quality education to children living in poor and marginalised communities in East Africa, informed by the belief that education provides children with the best possible chance of breaking the cycle of poverty. COCO focus on vulnerable groups including women, girls and orphans, in hard-to-reach areas, often in extremely rural locations. COCO envisions a world where every child everywhere has access to quality education, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or economic circumstance. This vision is at the core of COCO’s current work in Kenya and Tanzania. Through their Schools for Life, sustainable agriculture training and small loans programmes, COCO works with the whole community to systematically remove the barriers to education so that no child is left behind.
