Assynt Leisure & Learning Centre is dedicated to improving well-being, education, and social inclusion in the remote community of Lochinver. It provides an accessible space for all ages to engage in physical activities, learning, and social connections. The centre offers study spaces, tutoring, and after-school programs for young people, alongside exercise classes, and mental health support groups. Sports clubs and fitness sessions promote physical activity, while families benefit from a parent and toddler group and soft play equipment. Community workshops, social meets, and educational talks further enhance engagement. To sustain operations, the centre offers visitor services, including overnight parking, showers, and waste disposal, supporting NC500 travellers. Relying on funding, memberships, and income from services, Assynt Leisure remains a vital resource, ensuring residents have access to essential access to essential activities and support.

Objectives: The company's objects are, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Assynt, Scourie, Kinlochbervie, Dumess, Coijach, Loch Broom, Badcaul and Scorraig to advance education and, in the interest of social welfare, to provide, or assist in the provision of facilities for recreational or other leisure-time occupation in an effort to improve the conditions of life of the said inhabitants
