the Annual General meeti￿ who are re¥)0￿87bIe forthe managen￿ntOr the choir. The choir registered
'ith the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator in June 2005.
The principal object of the cknir is t0"adva￿ethe thkncakn'(n of the public in the an of choral music and
the Gaelic language. In furtI￿ranC¢ thcrcof, the 0[￿￿1SatiOn may ￿ve public pcrforniances and cntcr
competitions ai a local or nalional level."

chordl ¢oinp¢titions. Whilst nvl winning thc COTnpctition5 the choir eThjoyed meeting and perforniing
alongsidc rep￿$¢￿[&[1vCS of Ireland, W41ks. BTclon and Cornwall.
Once again. rhe L£sLhs' Show in July allowul the choir io do some fundraising by running the Tea Shed
whilst also raising the profile of the ¢hoir in the local communiry.
Choir membership increasoj a lillle and il was very encouraging lo see yOUn￿r people coming along to
sing with us on a Mnnday ¢v¢ning.
Throughout the year there We￿ a few weeketml Worksh￿ which allowed Choristers fr(m thc mainlund to
attcnd in person at￿ these were esperially helpful in the run up ￿ the Royal Naiional Mod in Ociober.

Inveytment Pollcy •nd Performance
In accordance with theconstitution. the conductor. treasurer and secretary have thc power to invest iti

choir's reserves are held in bank accounts in order tctr meel nornial operatinnal requirements. OvLr a
period of around 6 yearsthe Modeirculates &rouTrJ SeL*land and some venues are more expen%ive than
othcrs to attcnd On this basisthe c1￿1r alTr￿ to retain sufficient funds ￿ SnKJoth the &mount needed from
fundraising and subscriptions ycar on year.
