**What the charity does:** The Charity was put in place to collect, record, research and celebrate the wide cultural background of the Applecross peninsula. The Society has a broad membership and strong community support which we communicate with regularly. We have an active Website and well used Facebook page. We organise Heritage events from time to time on a wide range of topics, and these are well supported. We work with other local bodies to promote our diverse cultural heritage.  We operate a Heritage Centre during the months of April-October which promotes our collection of artefacts and information.

**Beneficiaries:** 'Children or young people','No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

**Objectives:** To advance the education of the public by the research, collation, recording, publication by any means, disseminatino and promotion of the history of Applecross and surrounding area
