trustees consider that the audit require￿nt of Regulation 10{1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is
my responsibility to examine the aCc￿nts as required under section 44(11 (c) of the Act and to state whether
particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's statemert
My examination is carried out in actordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations
2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. It asc Includes 03nsideration of any unusual Items or disclosures In the

1. Principal Address

2. Annual Report
The Broxburn Woodcraft Club h88 had another successful year. The annual membership
came to in excess of 150 which shows an increase of more than 8 % for the year.
This meant an increase in the number of members regularly attendingthe woodcraft
club and generally usingthe lathes and toolsets in the club. We ordered new lathes
making use of the generous grants received in both the previous and the current year.
Our overall income incre8sed by over 10% duringthe year.
3. Annualshow
The 8WC annual show which Is open to the general public was a great success
highlighting the superb woodturning, woodcraft and stickmaking skills of members.
Congratulations to all of the competition winners and trophywinners.
In particular, many of the clubs Stickmakers won prizes at other events throughout
Scotland during the year.
4. Broxburn Woodcraft Club in the Loc8l Community
Throughout the yearwe have continued to assist the local community. Our members
worked with pupils and staff at the Broxburn Primary Schoolto update models for them
of Tomas The Tank Engine. Another joint project was completed forthe localstrathbrock
Library.

5. Trustees
The Office bearers are the Chair. Vice Chair. Treasurer and the Secretary. each of whom
may servefof 8 maximum penod of 3 ye8rs after which they must resign their position
and cannot be re-elected to that position in accordance with the BWC Constitution until
at least 12 monthshave elapsed. They can be eLected to a different Off ice position or
can be elected as an ordinaryTrustee.
