activities raised a higher amount thay] previous ye￿s, providing extra funds. We have now
decreased the deficit that was brought forward from 2021122, although not by a huge amount,
Further fundraising and increased ticket sale5 will be required to further reduce this deficit.

ACTIVITIES
In April 2024 the society perfornied the musical 'The Liitle Mermaid,. The cast covered a
range of ages from 16 to over 65. The officials for this produclion have an educational role 10
assist mainly the young people to acquire the confidence and Skill to perform in public to a
high standard. When generally it is rare for the April production to make money and the cosis
generally exceed income, this remained ihe case this year. we made a large loss on our
production of £17.469.
The Society encourages groups and disabled lo attend and offer5 some free lickets for group
bookings, as well discretionary rates for the elderly, disabled and youn8 people. In addition
cares for disabled are given a complementary iicket.
It is a150 the Society's policy to rnake collections al the end of the public perfomiances for a
rxnge of selected chaTitable organisations. This year £828.40 was raised from the 8eneT05i¢y

LEVEL OF RESERVES
The currenl level of reserves amounts to £7.94.04 in the bank account and £329.77 cash in

the granl received from Fa]kirk Council. Were it not for this one off grant, there would not
have been any reserves and would have been unable to pui on the produclion. The Trustees
