The objects of the charity are to advance the education of young people who are emotionally and behaviourally challenging through the operation and maintenance of The Good Shepherd Centre, Bishopton as a residential establishment providing secure accommodation and ancillary services for the purposes of the relevant legislation. The charity meets its objectives by: • the operation of a secure unit for young people with a view to affecting their mental, physical and moral welfare and, as far as possible, to encourage them to take their place as responsible citizens of the community. • promoting the provision of additional childcare and educational facilities to disseminate experiences, information and treatments.
