Structure, governance and management

The Chanty is an unin¢orKKJrated associatson. It is govemed by ils
constitution which was last amended on 17 FebrLJary 2024.
Trustee recruitment and appolntment
The man8gernent committee. which normally meets on a quartedy basis,
are the charity's Iruslees. Membership of the management committee Is
open lo representatsves of communty groups and voluntary organisations
working within the community of West Ardnamurchan and the Surrounding
area.
Trustees are elected at the Annual General Meetsng which is normally
held in February. Under the constitution, there must be a minimum of
three and not rT￿re than seven elected trustees. The Iruslees may co-QPt
a further three triJ5tees rf they consider it would be in the interests of the
Club to do so.
Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
The object for which the Group Is established Is for the benefit of the
inhabitants of West Ardnamurchan and the surrounding area. lo provide,
or assist in the provision of. facilities. in the interest of social welfare, for
recreab'on or other leisure-time occupation in an effort to improve
conditsons of lrfe for the said Inhabitants.

Kilchoan Playing Field is used regulady by various members of the
community for a number of activities..
Kilchoan Primary S¢hool outdoor activities and annual Inter
School Sports Day
Highland Council Aclive Schwls after school club and annual
summer sports and activity sessions for local children and visitors
West Ardnamurchan Show and Sports takes place on the field
every July. wrth up to 300 visitors attending
Annual Fireworks event lakes place every November
Loch Lomond Motor Cycle Club- Anter Rally held annually
Kilchoan Football Club Lbse the field for training and for home

Primary School, H￿hland Council Active Schools, Wesl Ardnamurchan
Show and Sports, Communty Fireworks. Loch Lomond Motor Cycle Club,
and Kilchoan Football Club.
In the last financial year we have actively begun seeking grant funding for
new fencing1£10. 1501. a new ffK)wer Ic£71401 and for tree cutting
(£17001 An applicats'on lo the Weir Charitable Trust on our behalf was
unsuccessful however another application has been submitted lo the
Lottery Awards for Al funding stream.
Financial review
Brief statement of the charity's policy
on reserves
Our main source of fvnds is donabons from local community groups.
Regular outgoings include grass cutting and insurance.
The trustees, policy is to maintain reserves at around 2-3 monlhs of
normal running costs in order to meet commitments and to cover any
unexpected expenditure. Reserves at the end of the year were £1.356.51
which is within the target range
