**What the charity does:** To support disadvantaged adults who face multiple barriers to improve their quality of life through gaining skills and knowledge to live healthier more independent lives

**Objectives:** The Charitable Purposes of the SCIO (“the Charitable Purposes&#x27;) are: 3.1.1 to promote, provide and develop social and community integration skills for individuals within Perth and Kinross who have individual needs and/or who experience exclusion, disadvantage or other challenges (known collectively as &#x27;service users&#x27;). 3.1.2 to promote, provide and develop education, training and support for service users to enable them to learn and develop personal and independent living skills (including practical, social, cultural and financial) with a view to building confidence and self-esteem, in order to realise their potential and to improve their quality of life. 3.1.3 to provide a range of education and training to service users, including interpersonal skills, conflict resolution and community project services to assist them to progress onto work placements, work experience and voluntary and paid work. 3.1.4 to promote and improve health and well-being of service users using a variety of methods including organised physical activities, team participation and holistic mind and well-being activities. 3.1.5 to promote reintegration into the local community through assisting and supporting service users to participate in a wide spectrum of project activities and to access mainstream activities. and 3.1.6 in all the foregoing, embodying the ideal that in meeting the needs of others, we meet the needs in ourselves&#x27;.
