The charity rnanaged day to day by the trustees. Camp artivtts are only p)ssible with the sacrifal giving and support (both financially and in their limel of numerous volnteerS ad supporters. OBJECTIVES AND ACTivmES The obiectlve of the charity is thè promoiion of the Chrtsti•n faith, primarity (but not limited) to children. young peop and frdmilies in the Shet13r area. ACHIEVEKfjENTS ANO PERFORMAN During the first half of 2024, a major Milesto was achieved wih the wmpletion of extenslve improvement works of ihe camp facility. These upgrades were essential in secring the necessary re8ulatory approva15 to reopen the buildire for residential camp use. Beyond the structural and comlanCe-re13ted ienovations. cons1derab Investment was made to enhance the tomfort and functs"onalit¥ of the space. This included the purthase of new seing. the addition of a hiEh<apacity industrial dithwa5her to SUPPOrt kitchen operations. and the purchase of office furniture. Followlng these upgrade5, the camp hosted three weeks ol sidential camps in July, wekorning a total of 191 children. The retum ol campers brought renewed ener8y and loy to the site. as children engaged enthusiastical in a wide range of planned acti¥ities. It was heartenlng to wrtness the building once agaln lilled thildren an inspirin8 mIler ol the camp's enduring value to the lives of Sheiland's young people.

Durin8 the year considerable buildin8 maintenance was undertaken to bri the buildings up to standard in regard to current building regulatio. and rt was expected that the 2023 surplus would be carried over into 2024. The Trustees tonsider thai the uniestricted cash reser¥es of £11,216 after the completion of the building refurbishment12023.. £52.3301 are sufficient to cover the planned buildings work and for the day to days cashfknw needs of the ¢hèrity. and to cushion against any unforeseen wst of repairs or drop in income.
