We build strong social connections, reduce inequalities and support vibrant communities through volunteers and volunteering activities. We achieve this through: our brokerage role – recruiting and placing volunteers for organisations. by supporting organisations to offer quality volunteering experiences. by influencing and informing public policy on volunteering. by developing new models of volunteer engagement. and by celebrating the contribution and impact of volunteers in Edinburgh.
Objectives: To promote the advancement of education, the furtherance of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress by the promotion of voluntary service and the development of volunteering within the area of the City of Edinburgh and elsewhere
