**What the charity does:** We aim to further knowledge of Scotland's architectural castle heritage, and encourage the restoration and conservation of castles, tower houses and similar buildings. We produce regular newsletters and an annual Journal to members, as well as organising castle tours within Scotland . We also organise conferences on specific topics relevant to our aims, which  involve other organisations with similar aims.

**Objectives:** (i) To encourage, by charitable means but not othenvise, the protection, preservation, restoration, research, study and appreciation of Scottish castles, tower houses and manor houses, together with their associated furnishings, settings, gardens and designed landscapes being of merit or historic interest and situated in Scotland  (ii) To co-operate with other bodies with similar aims  (iii) To do anything which maybe considered to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of all or any of the objects
